Bytes Technology Group (BTG) has been recognised as one of the UK’s leading businesses for gender representation at board level, securing a Top 10 position in the latest FTSE Women Leaders Review. The recognition reflects BTG’s sustained focus on building balanced leadership teams and fostering an environment where women can thrive at every level of the organisation.

The FTSE Women Leaders Review assesses gender representation across the FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and FTSE 350, alongside the UK’s largest private companies. In the 2025 Review, BTG ranked third among FTSE 250 companies for the highest representation of women on boards, with women holding 57.1% of board positions. This places BTG well above the Review’s 40% target and demonstrates meaningful, sustained progress in board diversity.

BTG was also recognised for long-term improvement, ranking second among FTSE 250 companies for the greatest progress achieved over the past five years. During this period, female representation on the Board increased by 28.5%, with the appointments of Dr Erika Schraner (September 2021), Sam Mudd (April 2023), Shruthi Chindalur (February 2024) and Anna Vikström Persson (June 2024).

Two of the four board positions recognised under the FTSE Women Leaders criteria are held by women, with Sam Mudd serving as CEO and Erika Schraner as Senior Independent Director. Additionally, Kally Kang-Kersey was appointed as the Group’s first female Chief People Officer in July 2025. This underlines BTG’s continued commitment to inclusive and balanced leadership at the highest level of the organisation.

Sam Mudd, CEO of BTG, said: “We are proud to be recognised in the FTSE Women Leaders Review Top 10 and particularly encouraged by the sustained progress we have delivered at Board level over the past five years. I would like to thank the talented women across BTG whose commitment and expertise continue to drive meaningful change.
